Something to Believe In
The Memory ClubSnow falling onto a frosty ground
Friends calling merrily all aroundChoirs singing, sounds of the evensong
Bells ringing, feels like we all belong
Hope flickering like a candle in a storm
Faith turns to doubt and I wonder…Give me truth in this World (full of lies)
Give me something, something to believe in
Peace in this World (full of war)
Give me something, something to believe inGifts given under the Christmas tree
Forgiven all of our history
Hope flickering like a candle in a storm
Faith turns to doubt and I wonder…Give me truth in this World (full of lies)
Give me something, something to believe in
Peace in this World (full of war)
Give me something, something to believe in
Love in this World (full of hate
) Give me something, something to believe in
Hope in this World (of despair)

The Memory Club
-
The British have a long history of using the hulks of captured
or no longer sea worthy ships for the incarceration of prisoners.
This song was inspired by a 19th Century American Poem 'The British Prison Ship'
(Philip Freneau 1752 – 1832)
But its words still seem very topical.HMS Victory Walkthrough Tour: (Chave Weather)
